Entries are now invited for the 30th edition of the Seatrade Awards – the longest running and most respected awards of its kind – which take place on 29 June 2018 at The Landmark London hotel and attended by more than 300 of the maritime industry’s most prominent influencers.

The Awards celebrate the exceptional achievements of the maritime community and ground-breaking innovations which are shaping the future of the maritime industry.

“Since its inauguration in 1988, Seatrade Awards has firmly established itself as one of the most integral parts of the maritime industry. As it now prepares to enter into its third decade, we are once again delighted to be welcoming entries from all sectors of the maritime community,” remarked Andrew Williams, Seatrade group director, UBM EMEA.

 “As the industry continues on its journey to meet the demands of digitisation and address the potential barriers facing its future, it is more important than ever that the ambition driving this future is recognised and supported; and Seatrade Awards provide the perfect opportunity to do so,” continued Williams.

Seatrade Awards will this year feature twelve awards, including;

  • Safety at Sea
  • Clean Shipping
  • Investment in People
  • Digital Technology Award
  • Cyber Security Award
  • Fuel Efficiency Award
  • Corporate Social Responsibility Award

The winners of each will be announced on 29 June 2018 at The Landmark London over a three-course lunch; which will provide unrivalled opportunities to meet, network and celebrate with over 300 of the industry’s most prolific and prominent figures.

 “The ethos of Seatrade Awards has always been to champion the progression of maritime standards, identify innovative solutions to new challenges and celebrate its achievements. Through taking part, entrants are taking the opportunity to help support and inspire the wider industry,” commented Chris Hayman, Seatrade chairman.

Entries will remain open until Thursday 22 March 2018 and all sectors of the international maritime industry are invited to submit their entry. Category-specific criteria, entry requirements and further information can be viewed on the Seatrade Awards website
