Taipei: Evergreen reports it has entered into a slot charter agreement with Hanjin Shipping covering two new services. It will charter slots on Hanjin's US/South America (ECAS) service, which began July 25, while Hanjin will take slots on Evergreen's existing weekly ESA service linking East Coast South America, South Africa and Asia. Hanjin's service, on which South African ports are unavailable, is dubbed NSX (New South America - Asia Express) and it replaces the FAS (Far East - Asia - South America) service it used to offer by taking slots from MOL.
