Taipei: Evergreen Marine Corp said it has decided to inject NT$300minto Taipei Port Container Terminal Corp.
The capital infusion will raise the container shipping company's investment in Taipei Port Container to NT$628.79m, giving it a 36.99 pct stake, it said in a filing with the stock exchange.
Taipei Port Container is a joint venture of Evergreen Marine, Wan Hai Lines Ltd and Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp designed to alleviate pressure from bottlenecked Keelung in the northeast. [26/12/07]
