Taipei: Evergreen Line has announced that it will revise its Japan-Taiwan/China NSA service and begin making port calls to Nansha, China. The route will be revised so that Nansha is the next port-of-call after Kaohsiung instead of Hong Kong (mid-stream point). Transit time (T/T) to Nansha will be eight days from Osaka, seven days from Kobe, five days from Moji and four days from Hakata.
The first service vessel under the revised schedule is the Uni-Assure, which will arrive in Osaka on Feb. 16. The revised port rotation will be: Osaka (Sat), Kobe (Sat-Sun), Iwakuni (Mon-Tue), Moji (Tue), Hakata (Tue-Wed), Taichung (Fri), Kaohsiung (Sat-Sun), Nansha (Sun-Mon), Shekou (Mon-Tue), Hong Kong (Tue), Osaka.
Cargo destined for Hong Kong (mid-stream) from shippers so far used the NSA service will be picked up by its Japan-Taiwan/Hong Kong JTH service. [06/02/08]
