Taipei: Taiwanese container giant Evergreen Line says that in a continued effort to provide customers with reliable and efficient level of service on Northern Europe to USA trades, "it is essential to bring freight rates back to sustainable and viable levels." It will therefore implement the following rate restoration programmes:
(a) Effective Date : December/01/2009
Quantum : To Atlantic Coasts, USD 250/20', USD 350/40' & HQ
(b) Effective Date : January/01/2010
Quantum : To Atlantic Coasts, USD 350/20', USD 450/40' & HQ
(c) Effective Date : April/01/2010
Quantum : To Atlantic Coasts, USD 350 /20', USD 450/40' & HQ
The increases apply to all cargo and commodities, including reefers and special equipment. [23/10/09]
