Singapore: Ezra Holding's continues on the expansion trail with the acquisition of a fabrication yard in the US. Singapore-listed Ezra is purchasing a 650,000 sq feet fabrication facility in Houston for an undisclosed sum. The company said it would compliment its proposed $250m acquisition of Aker Marine Contractors. "The new Houston base will allow us to quick start our drive into the engineering and fabrication market in the Americas and Europe. Armed with our other facility in Vietnam, Ezra is now able to quickly respond to clients' needs worldwide, further strengthening our competitive edge in the offshore oil and gas market," said Lionel Lee, managing director of Ezra.
