Singapore: M.V. Kissama, the 582-teu capacity feeder vessel acquired by the Hyderabad-based Seaways Shipping, will be put on a new service being launched to connect Paradip (pictured) directly with Singapore, reports the Hindu Business Line. The port rotation will be Singapore- Port Klang-Kolkata-Paradip-Singapore. The vessel is to arrive in Kolkata on June 20 and Paradip on June 23.
The distance between Paradip and Singapore will be covered in five days. Right now there are no direct sailings between the Orissa port and Singapore. [18/06/07]
