Seoul: Compania Chilena de Navegacion Interoceanica (CCNI), Hanjin Shipping, Hapag-Lloyd, Wan Hai Lines and Zim Integrated Shipping Services have agreed to cooperate on a service from Asia to the east coast of South America through South Africa.
The joint operation will take place starting from April serving Korea, Central and South China, Singapore, South Africa, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.
The new weekly service will consist of eleven vessels of 4,200 teu, Hanjin and Zim deploying three vessels each, CCNI and Wanhai two vessels each and Hapag-Lloyd deploying one vessel plus slot purchase from other lines. [12/02/10]
