Seoul: The Asian container grouping called the CKYH Alliance made up of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line), Yangming Marine Transport, COSCO Container Lines (COSCON) and Hanjin Shipping is to rationalize its Asia-Europe service to save fuel consumption. Weekly runs on the service will be cut to six from seven and many duplicated ports of call will be reformed, starting from November 2006. [22/09/06]
