Singapore: Global shipping, logistics and marine services provider GAC Group has kicked off 2009 with a number of shifts to personnel in its various offices.
Christer Sjödoff, who presently holds two portfolios as regional director for Asia Pacific region and group vp for GAC Solutions, is to move to Dubai and take up the position of dedicated group vp for the region.
Sjödoff will hand over his current responsibilities to Bengt Ekstrand, who will move to Singapore and assume the title of regional director for Asia Pacific. Dan Hjalmarsson will replace Ekstrand as regional director for the Middle East.
Moving from Nigeria to Dubai, Peter Bengtsson will fill Hjalmarsson's position as GAC Dubai md, while Neale Proctor has taken over Bengtsson's position as GAC Nigeria md. [05/01/09]
