GE takes delivery of Hyundai Mipo-built product tanker

Mumbai: G E Shipping has taken delivery of a new built 37,154 medium range product tanker built at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in South Korea. The vessel, named  Jag Panna, is dually classed with Det Norske Veritas and Indian Register of Shipping and has "IA Ice Class" notation.

The new addition boosts GE's fleet to 41 vessels comprising 32 tankers (of which 16 are product carriers) and nine drybulk carriers. The company's current new building order book comprises of eight product tankers (four Medium Range  and  four LR1 Product tankers) totalling around 470,000dwt.  [15/07/06]
