Singapore: John Fredriksen's Golden Ocean is seeking a secondary listing in Singapore. Olso-listed dry bulk shipowner Golden Ocean said it was planning to list on the Singapore Exchange to tap the growing Asian investor market. "The company already has a substantial operational presence in Asia and views a listing in Singapore as a natural next step in its corporate development," Golden Ocean said. No timeframe has been set for the listing. Last year Singapore Exchange and Oslo Bors signed an agreement to try and encourage companies from the shipping, offshore and energy sectors to seek dual or secondary listings in each others exchanges.
