Guangzhou: The largest petrochemical port in the Pearl River Delta has gone into operation with an annual handling capacity equivalent to one-tenth of the oil needs of southern China's Guangdong province. The port on Xiaohu island at Nansha city in Guangdong has a planned annual handling capacity of around 12 million metric tons, Guangzhou Nansha Assets Operation Co said in a statement on its Web site.
