Lahore: The Gwadar Port project will become operational within six months, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Sher Afgan Khan Niazi told the National Assembly here on Wednesday. Gwadar is set to become Pakistan's premier deepwater port once it opens after many months of delay. The Chinese have poured huge funds into the project. [31/08/06]
