HLNG said it had received letters of commitment from ABN Amro, Citibank, Crédit Agricole, Danske Bank, DNB, Nordea, and Swedbank for the credit facility to finance its third and fourth FSRUs being built at Hyundai Heavy Industries.
The facility has a 15 year repayment profile, is without charter employment commitments and can be used for pre-delivery finance.
"We are pleased to have received commitments from our banks for this attractive financing for the last two of the four FSRUs currently under construction at Hyundai Heavy Industries. With this facility the vessels are fully funded,” said Sveinung Støhle, president and ceo of HLNG.
“The structure of this financing underlines the strength of and HLNG's leading position in the fast growing FSRU market."
