Hanjin group persident and ceo, JW Park said, "The growth that we have achieved in China has been a driving force behind the development of Hanjin Shipping and the company's development has been made possible thanks to the government, port authorities of China, and our customers." He also stated the company's intention to expand its shipping and logistics businesses in China and grow into a recognized, and trusted premier total logistics company.

The company also announced its 'Vision 2017' plan that sets targets of KRW 25 trillion in sales, KRW two trillion in operating profit, and KRW 15 trillion in corporate value to be achieved by 2017.
