Seoul: Korea's Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction's overseas unit HHIC-Phil has disclosed that it has signed a newbuilding contract with an unspecified European shipowner to build eight 205,000-dwt bulk carriers worth around $500m in total. HHIC-Phil, located in Subic Bay, has now secured a total of 19 large ship orders so far this year. [11/05/10]
