Hanjin to hike rates from 13 Jan
Seoul: Hanjin Shipping is trying its luck with a series of rate increases on the Asia-Europe route from 13 January to maintain service standards in the face of falling freight rates.

Rates from the Far East and Southeast Asia to North Europe, the Baltic and Scandinavia will increase $350 per teu and $700 per feu. Similar
hikes are also planned for routes from the Indian subcontinent and the Middle East.

Rates to the Med and North Africa will also be affected. Rates from the Far East and Southeast Asia to the Med and North Africa will rise
$350 per teu and $700 per feu. The same hikes will apply for shipments from the Indian subcontinent and the Middle East.
