Hanjin, K Line and PIL to start new intra-Asia service
Hanjin Shipping, K Line and Pacific International Lines (PIL) have come together to offer a new intra-Asia service with direct sailing between China, Thailand and Vietnam.

The new service, China Straits Express (CSE), will start on 20 April on a weekly basis with four 2,500 teu container vessels.

The port rotation of the service in 28 days is Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Laem Chabang, Singapore, Port Klang, Laem Chabang, Ho Chi Minh City, Xiamen and back to Qingdao.

South Korea’s Hanjin Shipping explained that this new service will enhance the participating carriers’ network and service competitiveness by meeting the needs within the region, covering China and parts of Southeast Asia directly.
