Hanjin negotiates with HHI for newbuildings

Seoul: Hanjin Shipping is in discussion with its compatriot Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI)  to build 3,600teu and 4,600teu boxships.
"Hanjin has more or less finalized the 3,600teu newbuildings. It plans to have four ships delivered in 2013." an industry official said. The company will order up to 8 boxships.
No prices for the eight panamaxes have been disclosed yet. [17/01/11]
