Hanjin Shipping shakes up Malaysian connections

Seoul: Hanjin Shipping will start to provide two new Korea-Malaysia services on September 9, 2006 by exchanging space with KMTC (Korea Marine Transportation Co, Ltd) and STX Pan Ocean. Hanjin Shipping will take slots from KMS (Korea-Malaysia Service) operated by KMTC and from NMS (New Malaysia Service) operated by STX Pan Ocean, and in return provide the two carriers with slots from its NHS (New Hochiminh Service) and JIX (Japan Indonesia Express Service).The two new services replace the existing IMS (Indonesia Malaysia Service). KMS will call at Busan, Gwangyang, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Port Klang, Singapore, and Pasir Gudang while NSM at Busan, Incheon, Qingdao, Hong Kong, Port Klang, and Singapore.  [05/09/06]
