Seoul: From July 28 Hanjin Shipping has committed to buying slots on APL's innovative service linking Singapore with the US east coast via the Suez Canal. APL's All Waters Suez service will provide Hanjin's customers "with easier access to the growing markets including Sri Lanka, southern India, Bangladesh and the Middle East," the Korean liner noted in a relase.
Also, the company expects the current transit time from Singapore to New York to improve significantly as it will be reduced from 29 days to 21 days. [15/07/09]
