Seoul: CMA CGM has gone back to Hanjin Heavy Industries with an order for four 6,500 teu container vessels for 2009 delivery netting the yard around $400m. The French operator earlier this year ordered six 4,300 teu vessels at the new yard Hanjin is building at Subic Bay in the Philippines. Ironically the news comes a couple of days after affiliate, Hanjin Shipping, became the first Korean carrier to order 10,000 teu class ships - but at Hanjin HI's competitor Samsung which has bigger capacity.
