Seoul: Hyundai Heavy Industries has ordered further lpg (liquefied petroleum gas) reliquefaction packages from Hamworthy for four LNG carriers it is building. Hamworthy will supply reliquefaction plant, deepwell cargo pumps and inert gas systems packages worth over $15m. Two of the ships are being built at HHI's Ulsan shipyard for Transpetrol, two at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries' Mopko shipyard for Egypt-based Arab Maritime Petroleum Transport Company (AMPTC). The contract follows a breakthrough HHI order for Hamworthy lpg reliquefaction systems last year, bringing the total number of ship-sets ordered to nine. [10/08/06]
