Beijing: Taking its fleet spending to around $1.4bn this year, Hebei Ocean Shipping Co. Ltd (HOSCO) recently is moving into the handymax sector for the first time, ordering three 57,000 dwt bulkers at Cosco Zhoushan Shipyard for delivery in 2009.
Earlier this year HOSCO signed a deal with China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation for a total of sixteen 180,000 dwt capesizes. [06/07/07]
