HPH likely to gain Ecuardorian mandate

Quito: Hutchison Ports Holding is on the verge of winning a 30-year concession for the modernization and operation of Ecuador's Manta port on the Pacific coast, having paid a downpayment of US$1m to the port authority earlier this week as part of its proposed committment to spend $468m upgrading the strategically located port.  [17/08/06]
