IADA announces October rate restoration

Tokyo: Member carriers of the Intra-Asia Discussion Agreement (IADA) will implement freight rate restorations (RR) for intra-Asia cargo to/from Japan effective on October 1. The margin of hikes will be $100 per TEU and $200 per FEU high cube container, and for reefer containers, $200 per TEU and $300 per FEU high cube box. The RR will be the third in 2007 for cargo to/from Japan, following those implemented in April and July. [13/09/07]
