Singapore: Jurong Shipyard has bagged a S$351m FPSO conversion contract from Teekay. The Singapore shipyard is to convert the aframax tanker Arc II to a floating production storage and offloading vessel FPSO Petrojarl Cidade de Itajai for Teekay Petrrojarl Production. The FPSO is due for delivery in the first quarter of 2012 and will chartered to Petrobras for nine years. "We are delighted to have signed our first FPSO contract with Jurong Shipyard and see this as the start of long and mutually rewarding relationship, said Peter Lytzen, president and ceo of Teekay Petrojarl Production.
