Tokyo: Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. ("K" Line) decided at a board meeting to assign Hiroyuki Maekawa, the company's present President and CEO, to Chairman of the Board and Kenichi Kuroya (pictured), Managing Director of "K" Line Pte Ltd, to the company's President and CEO as of April 1, 2010.
Mr. Kuroya will become a Vice President as of January 1, 2010 and also Director as of end of June subject to approval at the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders. At present he is also a board of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).
Change of regarding other Directors and Executive Officers will be decided and announced later. [30/12/09]
