Karachi: Pakistan is soon to have its first skyscraper after UK architect Aedas won an international design competition, Property News reported. The Karachi Port Trust chose Aedas to develop the 80-storey office tower on the Indian Ocean in Karachi. The scheme will also have residential, retail and conference space, while the top 21 floors will house a 250-bedroom five-star hotel. Developer MM Pakistan will start work on site next month.
