Keppel bags S$160m in new contracts
Singapore: Keppel’s Offshore & Marine’s (Keppel O&M) Philippines and Netherlands yards have bagged new orders worth S$160m.

Keppel Subic Shipyard in the Philippines is to build a Depletion Compression Platform (DCP) for Shell Philippines Exploration for the support of recovery of natural gas from a field in Palawan.

"Over the years, Keppel Subic Shipyard has established a creditable track record in ship repair and major fabrication work. This DCP project is a good platform for us to further enhance our competencies for complex offshore work,” said Michael Chia, managing director of marine for Keppel O&M.

In the Netherlands, Keppel Verolme has secured a contract for the drydocking survey of the deepwater construction vessel (DCV) Balde for Heerema Marine Contractors. The two contracts are worth a combined S$160m.
