Singapore: Keppel Corp's offshore and marine unit has won $340 million of new contracts for various jobs including conversion and construction work.
The four contracts, secured through three subsidiaries of Keppel Offshore & Marine, include converting a panamax tanker to a floating storage and offloading vessel (FSO) for M3nergy JDA, a unit of Malaysian oil and gas company M3nergy; building an internal turret for SBM Offshore group, to be supplied to BP Norge, a Norwegian unit of oil giant BP; refurbishing and outfitting a semi-submersible multi-service vessel for Prosafe Rigs, a unit of Cyprus-based Prosafe; and finally for SBM Offshore, to fabricate, install and integrate topside process modules for a floating production storage and offloading vessel. [21/11/08]
