Liuheng to build an LNG receiving terminal

Liuheng Management Committee, Zhejiang Energy and Shenzhen Energy Gas Investment Holdings have inked co-operation framework agreement to jointly invest in and develop the LNG receiving terminal project in Liuheng, Zhoushan.

The three parties will set up a new company for this LNG project, which will construct an LNG receiving station with 12m tons annual handling capacity.

The first phase project include one 266,000 cu m LNG carrier berth, one LNG ship refuelling terminal and three 200,000 c um LNG storage tanks. The first phase project will have the handling capacity of 5m tons.

Official from Liuheng Management Committee said that we will actively seek for national, provincial and local support for the project.

Liuheng also plans to develop an LNG industrial park and build up a complete industry chain to expand LNG market.
