Copenhagen: As shipping lines the world over look to cut whatever costs they can, Maersk, the world's largest containerline, has even gone so far as to trim back on napkins, saving it roughly the equivalent of three days time charter of a large boxship. According to news reports, the Danish container giant expects to save $70,000 annually if crew onboard its vessels use kitchen roll paper - already available on its ships - rather than napkins.
