Singapore: Tony Hotine has been appointed the new regional manager for Maersk Logistics Asia-Pacific, part of the forwarding and global supply chain arm of the AP Moller - Maersk Group. Based in Singapore, Hotine will handle for all aspects of the logistics business, with particular focus on driving strategies, service delivery, process excellence and product development, in support of the Company's global growth plans.
Reporting directly to Kim Hedegaard Sorensen, head of regions for Maersk Logistics, Hotline (pictured) will provide leadership to a team across nine countries, with the aim to provide customers with seamless end-to-end supply chain solutions.
He will also be overall responsible for the Damco brand, which provides a neutral freight forwarding portfolio including ocean freight forwarding, air freight forwarding, and landside services such as trucking, customs clearance, and insurance and documentation services.
Prior to joining Maersk Logistics, Hotine spent six years at DHL, where he held several leadership positions. [17/04/08]
