Singapore: Seatrade's Singapore division has welcomed the arrival of one of the best-known maritime journalists in the region. Marcus Hand, formerly Lloyd's List's Asia Editor, has come onboard the rapidly expanding Seatrade Singapore office as Southeast Asia Editor. Marcus previously worked with the Business Times in Singapore.
Seatrade's longstanding Singapore correspondent, Jacintha Stephens, will continue to work with Marcus, providing unbeatable coverage of regional shipping news across a variety of Seatrade titles.
'Marcus Hand's arrival sends another signal to the local shipping community that we are very committed to developing the Seatrade brand in Singapore,' said Andrew Callaghan, Seatrade's director of global sales. 'We now have the team we've been looking for in Asia to roll out a variety of new products.'
Seatrade's editorial line up in Asia also includes Sam Chambers covering East Asia; Katharine Si, former News Editor of shippingchina.com, covering China; and Namrata Nadkarni covering South Asia. [08/12/09]
