Mercator Lines in $45m bulker buy

Singapore: Mercator Lines (Singapore) has bought a post-panamax bulker for $45.4m. The 2010-built, 92,500 dwt bulker will the 14th vessel in Mercator Lines fleet, bringing it to a total of 1.3m dwt. "The vessel comes with an attached charter with a reputed company for a period of around six years, which would bring in revenues of about $47m," the company said. [23/11/10]
