The Thai-based firm said in a stock market announcement that it had appointed Mark Midgley as coo specifically for its subsea business.
Midgley, who was previously ceo of Daya Offshore Construction, will be charged with managing and expanding the company’s subsea services business worldwide.
Meanwhile, Mermaid Subsea Services evp Darren Morgan has been pushed up to group level, being re-designated as group senior director for business development and commercial for Mermaid Maritime.
Mermaid said this was “in line with the company’s strategy to focus on developing greater market presence and further revenue growth for its subsea services business”.
In his new role, Morgan will be responsible for subsea business development and commercial activities in the Asia-Pacific and Middle-East regions.
