Kuala Lumpur: MISC's RM5.2bn ($1.53bn) rights issue was 32.2% oversubscribed.
Malaysia's largest shipowner received applications for shares worth a total RM6.8bn.
In November last year MISC announced plans to sell 744m rights shares at RM7 each. The company said the funds raised from the issue would be used for capital expenditure. [18/02/10]
