Kuala Lumpur: Attempting to quash rampant media speculation MMC Corporation has said it is not in talks with China Shipping over the sale of a stake in the Port of Tanjung Pelepas (pictured) as has widely been reported in the past four days. "Neither Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas nor MMC Corp is in talks with China Shipping," it said in a statement. China Shipping currently uses Westports as its regional hub and has also been linked to getting either dedicated berths there or a stake in the terminal which is based in Port Klang. [22/11/06]
