Tokyo: Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, FESCO, (MOL) and Azuma Shipping have established a new liner agency Trans Russia Agency Japan Company to combine the agency services for shipping on the Russia-Japan route, reports Vostok Media.
The new agency was established by consolidating the MOL's owned agency, Navix Transport, and joint enterprise of FESCO and Azuma Shipping, United Orient Shipping & Agency Co. It officially launched its services as a FESCO general agent at the start of March.
The new company, in which FESCO owns a 50%stake, MOL (headquarters pictured) a 30% stake and Azuma Shipping a 20% stake, has a registered capital of 100 m Yen ($967,050). [05/03/08]
