Tokyo: Via a space charter from Wan Hai Lines Mitsui O.S.K. Lines is starting a Japan/China Service 2 (JC2). 'By adding the JC2 service, MOL will upgrade its direct services from South China to Japan with current MOL-operated services, while the service to Kansai and Kyushu will start again,' the Japanese liner said in a statement. The start of the service will be on board the M/V Hansa Rostock, arriving at Yantian on March 23, 2007. Port rotation is as follows: Yantian (Fri/Sat) - Hong Kong (Sat/Sat) - Osaka (Thu/Thu) - Kobe (Fri/Fri) - Tokuyama (Sat/Sat) - Moji (Sat/Sun) - Hakata (Sun/Sun) - Hong Kong (Fri/Fri).
