Helsinki: Napa Group, a Finnish software company that develops innovative computer systems for ship design and operations, has established a subsidiary company, Napa Korea Ltd, in Busan, Korea. The purpose is to strengthen Napa's local services to the Korean market. Young-Woon Jang will continue to head operations in Korea, now as managing director of this locally registered company.
Napa Group's presence on the Korean market dates back to 1999, when the first Korean users were added to the reference list and Napa started active sales in the region. Napa Group has had a representation office in Korea since 2002. The newly established company, Napa Korea Ltd, focuses on local services for NAPA and Onboard-NAPA users. Sales and marketing are handled together with Napa's staff in Helsinki. [08/05/09]
