New coal terminal for Ningbo

Shanghai: China will invest 2.25bn yuan to build a coal loading wharf in eastern China's Ningbo, the official Xinhua news agency reported.

The wharf will include a 200,000-ton unloading berth and a 50,000-ton loading berth, the agency said.

The first phase of the project will have an annual throughput of 16m tons, which will be increased by 6m tons with the Phase II expansion.  [01/06/07]
