Laem Chabang: TIPS container terminal, operated by NYK/MOL affiliate TIPS Co, has received two new gantry cranes with 48-metre outreach able to work 6,000teu vessels. The terminal handled 794,000teu last year, out of Laem Chabang's total of 3.84m teu, which made it the world's 20th largest container port. [11/08/06]
