Limassol: Ole B Stene, managing director of Manila-based Aboitiz Jebsens, has been elected new president of the International Ship Managers' Association (InterManager) effective immediately at today's agm of the association in Cyprus. He replaces Eurasia president and group md Rajaish Bajpaee, who served a three-year term. Bajpaee declared himself pleased to be leaving a body that had transformed itself during his tenure from one that was 'solely focused on shippmanagement standards to one that is a voice of industry practitioners in both in-house and third party shipmanagement and their supply chain partners.' Guy Morel replaces Stephen Chapman as InterManager general secretary from January 1. [13/10/06]
