New sales manager boosts Instone's Indian business

Mumbai: Crew travel specialists Instone International have seen an increase in business following the appointment of Priyanka Vidwans as sales manager for its Indian activities four months ago. 'India is an important crewing hub and part of the key Asian region for the maritime industry,' says Vidhwans, who serves as a lynch pin for all activities based in or relating to India. 'Asia is growing in importance and with the help of China and India will definitely handle 70% of the world's crewing business in the next 5-10 years and take over the focus from Europe.'

'This is the best country to be in during the recession. This is still a growing market for us and we have been extremely busy for the past few months,' she continues, adding that Instone's 24 hour customer service and technologically advanced software have proven extremely popular with clients.  [30/10/09]
