Beijing: China's Ningbo Shipyard has been awarded two shipbuilding contracts worth a total of $21.76m by Malaysian shipping firm Global Carriers. The contracts will see the shipyard construct two double-hull product oil tankers, the first of which is slated for delivery in late 2008. The second is expected to be ready for delivery about four months after the first, the yard reported. [07/09/07]
