Mumbai: Nissan has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ennore Port to export its vehicles from India, according to a Press Trust of India report. The report cites Nissan Motor India Managing Director Shouhei Kimura as saying: "We are happy to sign an MoU with Ennore Port Ltd and it would meet Nissan's requirements to export vehicles." Initially, Nissan is expected to export about 110,000 units-cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs)-by the second half of 2010, primarily to European countries. It plans to increase this to 180,000 units in future, Kimura said. [21/10/08]
