Singapore: Neptune Orient Lines reports increased container volumes for thefour week period ending July 28th but a drop in revenue per feu compared tothe same period last year. Volumes on its APL liner arm were up 11% at166,200 feu, while revenue per feu was down by the same percentage at$2,648, although this represents a second continuous month of improvement.In the year to date, volumes are up 6% at 1,178,600 feu compared to theequivalent period last year, while average revenues per feu are down 5% at$2,650. Revenues from logistics services flatlined at $94m in July, while in the year-to-date they are 3% up at $703.2m. (22/08/06).
